New types of Sulfuric acid catalyst: AS111 .AS112. AS117. AS118

1. AS111 can be used in all beds of the converter, but more availably to use in the first bed and the second bed. The new type AS111 of catalyst can be iginitioned at the temperature 360, and the normal working temperature is between 410-600. The catalyst can be operated at 630 constantly at highest point.It also works at 630 for a short time.VK48

2. As112 is optimized on the basis of AS111. It used in the third bed specially.This type is used for promoting the conversion of SO2 under the condition of high concentration of SO3.  

This is achieve by a higher vanadium pentoxide content combined with a change in the active phase.

VK58 is a caesium-promoted catalyst designed for use in the first pass as an ignition layer and in the final pass to enhance overall conversion. 3.AS117 is a low temperature type of catalyst. It used in the ignition segment of the first bed and the fourth bed, to promote the converter's conversion. Its starting temperature is in the range of 320-330.  

VK69 is a caesium-promoted catalyst optimized for operation in the last bed(s) of a double absorption process. 

4. AS118 is a type of catalyst which contains cesium. It used in the last segment of double-absorption process"3+2", to decrease the emission concentration of SO2 and increase output. The catalyst is manufactured by a special extrusion process resulting in a highly porous catalyst.

The Column(Cylinder) kind, has Dia5cm and Dia6cm two kinds, Pile density is 0.55-0.6KG/L.

The Petal(Star Ring) kind, has Dia10cm and Dia12cm two kinds. The length is 10-20mm, pile density is 0.45-0.52KG/L.

The Round(Ring) kind, has Dia9cm and Dia12cm two kinds. The length is 10-20mm, pile density is 0.48-0.55KG/L.
